Our Story
DeWitt’s Automotive Center opened in August of 1995. DeWitt Holland worked as a technician 15 years before deciding to open an auto repair facility. Rebecca Duck grew up watching her brother DeWitt work on cars which unknowingly gave her the knowledge to work in the automotive industry. The brother and sister duo have worked so well together that they have built a strong business with an undeniable reputation for getting it done right the first time.
DeWitt’s Automotive Center continues to stands out among the other repair facilities in the area. To keep up with the most recent trends in the automotive industry they are members of Napa Auto Care, Automotive Training Institute, and the Virginia Automotive Association. They believe that educating their customers and staff is of the utmost importance.
Today they are the highest Google reviewed shop in Windsor, Virginia and surrounding area. Finding and hiring the right employees is time-consuming, but necessary. Their staff must be passionate about the industry, willing to excel, and be proud to wear the DeWitt’s Logo!

DeWitt Holland
VP Marketing
Born and raised up in Windsor Virginia, DeWitt attended Isle of Wight Academy where he graduated in 1981 as well as becoming an Eagle Scout. He attended Paul D Camp Community College where he studied computer science. DeWitt began repairing vehicles early on when he purchased a 1971 Chevy Nova. DeWitt is married with 2 kids and 4 grandkids. DeWitt worked for a Windsor automotive repair station through college and until he went into business on his own in 1995. DeWitt has over 40 years of experience as a technician. DeWitt is a member of Windsor Christian Church and Boy Scout Troop 41. In his spare time, DeWitt and his lovely wife enjoy traveling from flea markets to antique auctions looking for that one special find. Through his travels and coming through the county DeWitt has formed quite the collection of automotive memorabilia.

Rebecca Duck

Born and raised in Windsor Virginia, Rebecca attended Nansemond Suffolk Academy where she graduated in 1992. She attended and graduated from North Carolina Wesleyan University in 1995 where she received her Bachelor Degree in Science. Rebecca finished college and went into business with her brother in 1995. She is married with one child. Rebecca is a member of Windsor Christian Church, Windsor Ruritan Club, and Norfolk Anglers Club. In her spare time Rebecca and her husband enjoy traveling and wetting the hook wherever they go.

Wilson E Holland

Born and Raised in Windsor Virginia. He graduated from Windsor High School. Wilson retired from Planet Peanuts after 31 year as manager in the shipping department. Wilson has worked here at DeWitt’s Automotive Center with his son, DeWitt, and daughter, Rebecca since the beginning. Wilson was instrumental in getting DeWitt’s Automotive Center off to a strong and steady growth. Wilson has been married to his wife Hannah and just enjoyed their 60th wedding anniversary. Together they have three kids, 5 grandkids and 4 great grandkids. He is a member of the Windsor Christian Church, Men’s Fellowship, Windsor Ruritan Club, Masonic Lodge, and serves on the Isle of Wight County Wet Lands Board. In His spare time Wilson enjoys wetting the hook in the family pond.

Hannah Holland
Owner / Secretary
Hannah was born and raised in Windsor Virginia. She attended Windsor High School and graduated with honors from Elon College with a degree in education. She started teaching at age 21 and retires after 51 years of teaching. The last school she taught at was Nansemond Suffolk Academy. Hannah is currently still teaching art every Wednesday at Windsor Christian Church for any adult who wishes to attend. She is married to Wilson and mother to Rebecca and DeWitt. Hannah was also instrumental and the backbone of getting DeWitt’s Automotive Center opened. She currently paints the thank you cards that are left in the seat of each customer’s car with a piece of candy. Hannah is a member of Windsor Christian Church, Women’s Fellowship, Windsor Homemakers Club, and Delta Kappa Gamma. In her spare time Hannah enjoys writing children’s books with her art work as illustrations.

Shanna Harris
Lead Service Advisor
Born in Bristol Pennsylvania, grew up in Raleigh, NC, and later in Virginia. Shanna attended and graduated from Western Branch High School in 2000. Shanna has one son and they enjoy playing video games together. In her spare time, Shanna enjoys writing her own literary stories. Who knows maybe she is the next Margaret Mitchell.

Mike was born and raised in Bloomsburg Pennsylvania where he attended Bloomsburg High School. Mike continued his studies at Columbia Area Vocational Technical Center where he studied Automotive. Mike has over 35 years of experience as an automotive technician. Mike is married with 3 kids and 2 great-grandchildren. In his spare time, Mike is creating his own woodworking masterpieces.

Butch was born in Texas but was raided all over the US as an army brat. Butch attended Hampton High and continued his studies at TNCC. Butch also has over 35 years of experience as a technician. Butch shares his time as a member of the Windsor Christian Church, Mason, Windsor Ruritan, Shiners, and Eastern Star. In his spare time, he and his lovely wife enjoy cruising on his Harley.
